10 Days Gorilla adventure tour.

This 10 Days Gorilla adventure tour takes you to Uganda’s most visited national parks to see both primates and wildlife in their natural habitat; such as Murchison falls, Kibale forest, Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi impenetrable and Lake Mburo national park.

Day 1: Arrival- transfer to the hotel

Meet with our safari guide upon your arrival at the Entebbe airport; then drive you to the hotel of your choice. Dinner and overnight at your hotel (B.B)

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison falls

Our safari guide will meet you at your hotel in the morning; have a short briefing about the 10 Days Gorilla adventure tour, then drive you to Murchison falls with a short stopover at track rhinos at Ziwa rhino sanctuary. Then proceed to the top of the Murchison falls to enjoy a beautiful view of the falls. Later check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Morning Game drive and Boat ride

After an early morning cup of coffee, take a game drive in the park expect to see elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, and hippos. Then return to the lodge for breakfast and then hot lunch. In the afternoon take a thrilling boat ride on the River Nile at the foot of the Murchison Falls. During the boat ride expect to see hippos, Nile crocodiles as well as other aquatic bird species. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale forest

After breakfast, check out of your lodge and drive to Kibale forest. Kibale forest has the highest number of primate species in the world. The transfer takes between 5 to 7 hours. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking – Transfer to Queen

Have breakfast and then drive to the park briefing area for chimps tracking guidelines. Thereafter join the ranger in search for the habituated chimps in their natural habitat. During the search, you will also spot other primate species that inhabit the forest. Return to the lodge for hot lunch; thereafter drive to Queen Elizabeth national park. Check into your lodge and then go for an evening game drive; expect to see elephants, hippos, buffaloes among others. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 6: Morning game drive and Boat ride

After an early morning cup of coffee, head out for a morning game drive. Expect to see elephants, buffaloes, hippos and a number of antelopes. Return to the lodge for a hot lunch, then followed by a thrilling boat ride on the Kazinga channel. During the boat ride, you will clear close view of wildlife such as hippos, Nile crocodiles, aquatic birds as well as other animals that come to quench their thirst at the channel. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi forest

After breakfast drive to Bwindi forest via Ishasha area- famous for tree climbing lions. If you are lucky you will see these lions resting on the acacia branches overlooking the antelopes grazing in the plains. Then proceed to Bwindi,  arriving in the evening check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Gorilla tracking

In the morning you drive to the park headquarter for gorilla tracking guidelines. After a briefing, the park ranger will allocate you the gorilla family to be tracked. Thereafter you will join the Rangers as you trek through the penetrable forest in search for the endangered mountain gorillas. Once you have found them, you will spend an hour taking photos as well as recording videos of these amazing creature. Return to the lodge and relax the entire evening. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 9: Transfer to Lake Mburo

After breakfast bid farewell to the land of mountain gorillas and drive to Lake Mburo. Have lunch and later go for a boat ride on the lake to see hippos, Nile crocodiles and a variety of aquatic birds in the papyrus reeds. Evening game drive to see buffaloes, zebras, waterbucks and giraffes. Then drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Departure.

Have a cup of coffee and then go a nature walk in the park. This is a guided nature walk that is so interesting and adventurous. Visit some of the neighboring homesteads and learn about their traditional way of keeping the long-horned cattle. Then return to the lodge for breakfast and later drive back to Kampala. Depending on your flight schedule, our safari guide will transfer you to the Entebbe airport in time to catch your flight back home.
